Learn how to make a pillow case using the sausage roll technique that encases and hides all the seams. This technique adds a contrast or matching band (or cuff) to the pillow, which eliminates the need fro a hem. The body of the pillow case uses french seams to encase the remaining seam allowances. This makes for a very professional and neat looking pillow case which sews up fast and easy.
Fabric requirements (standard sized pillow case):
3/4 yd face fabric for pillow body (1 yard fabric for larger sized pillow cases)
1/4 yd contrast or face fabric for sleeve
1/8 yd fabric for accent flat trim between contrast banding and pillow body
