How to add a cord shroud to an existing shade to make the exposed lift cords on the back of an older Roman shade safer.  This segment was featured on the PBS television show “Creative Living with Sheryl Borden.” Please also use current safety precautions on the tassel end (pull end) of the cord, as Roman shades that are in the up position still have dangerous cords on the tassel end.
